Is it moral to extend life?
If technological developments lead to the eventual ability to extend our lives well beyond what we have now, would you be for it or against it.
Lets take out environmental concerns, as this would be during an era where technology has provided a means to not stress the eco system, and also provide the means to sustain a large population. Also take out the aging factor.
Would you take part in such a life extension? Would you seek it mandatory for people to partake in technology (such as how we now have outlawed assisted suicide) Lastly, would you actively try to deny people such a life extension?
I think you're mixing up moral and ethical.
Anyways, I would partake of course. But it would be unethical to force others to extend their lives. As it would be unethical to force them not to take it.
