Diabetes and Figure 8 Weight Loss?

Have you or anyone you know done the Arbonne Figure 8 Weight Loss Program, even though you have diabetes and take insulin shots every day?

The weight Loss Products have lots of fiber, protein, vitamins and minerals, and not a lot of sugar. I think they'd be WAY better for a diabetic person than most of the other foods out there! And they can still eat one or two normal meals, so they can get more sugar through those.....The sugar they DO have is not regular processed white sugar, but organic. I know that the doctor has the final say. But, if you have already had experience with this, I'm curious to see what you think!
I don't have diabetes, but one of my Arbonne clients does and she wants to do the program!
How is this advertising? I'm asking if anyone who has diabetes has done this program, or if they know someone who has! Chill.

I've never heard of your program and I have sincere doubts as to whether your products are "WAY" better for a diabetic. No food manufacturer will ever come close to the foods our bodies evolved around. (Or were created for us, if you prefer). They can try all they want.

As a non insulin dependent (type two) diabetic, I can't advise your client unless they are a type two wanting to get off the insulin. If they were, I would advise them to stick to what Mother Nature provides... as man made foods are terrible for us. Even Glucerna products which are made for diabetics... they're terrible also. That's what got most of us into this mess in the first place. Whether a sugar is organic or not, is meaningless. There are more than a dozen types of sugar. The safest for a diabetic is fructose from fruits and vegetables. Not high fructose corn syrup or any other man made source of sugar. If your sugar happened to be organic glucose, the effect on a diabetic's body would be exactly the same as refined glucose. If your organic sugar happened to be honey, the effect would be exactly the same as sucrose (table sugar)... organic or otherwise. Do you see what I mean?

Since consuming a wide variety of raw fruits and vegetables and almost totally dispensing with man made foods, my blood sugar has gone down and my need for medication has all but disappeared. I've taken two pills in the past month and no insulin at all. If your client is a type two, you would be doing them a service by having them read my diabetes info page linked under my profile.

If your program includes lots of daily exercise, I would encourage them to pursue that with all vigor. If not, your program is not likely to do them much good at all. Education would do them a lot more good.

What Is The Arbonne MLM Opportunity All About? - An Arbonne MLM Company Overview

My Arbonne MLM overview finds that this MLM company was born in Switzerland in 1975 when a group of biochemists, biologists and herbalists painstakingly formulated a range of Skin Care products solely based on botanical principles. But it was only after the products arrived in the United States in 1980 that its popularity soared.

Arbonne is a network marketing company, and it now does business throughout North America and the international markets, marketing an exclusive line of high quality skin care, color cosmetics, weight loss and aromatherapy products based on botanical principles.

The company's range of quality products have grown to include both inner and outer beauty products, emphasizing quality, safety, value for money, benefits and observable results.

This company has one of the most generous compensation plans in the industry. For example, Independent Consultants can buy Arbonne products from the company at discounted prices-up to 35%- either for resale to clients or for personal use. Certain categories of clients (known as Preferred Clients) are entitled to a 20% discount on all Arbonne products purchased from the company.

They are also entitled to overrides and bonuses, but are not eligible for commissions. Furthermore, the company's suggested retail prices for all items reflects a 53.8% retail profit for the Consultants in the United States and its territories (i.e. the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands).

In addition to generous discounts, Independent Consultants, Preferred Clients, Managers and Vice Presidents are also entitled to commissions, overrides and bonuses. But this is based on their own sales of products and the sales generated by Consultant-sponsored downlines operating in the United States, its territories, Canada, or the International Markets in which Arbonne does business.

These bonuses can be substantial sometimes. For example during the four quarters of 2007, a total of 46,600 Arbonne consultants in the U.S. and its territories received either an override or a bonus check, amounting to an average of $1,214.40 per quarter per Consultant, or $4,857.61 on an annualized basis.

Of course these figures do not represent total profits earned by these consultants, since it neither considers the expenses they might have incurred in the course of promoting their business, nor does it factor in the size of retail profits form direct sales and discounts.

Still, the general picture is one of tempting opportunity. It presents an aspiring MLM entrepreneur a chance to own a business-within-a-business. This is not to say that the successes attained by others represent what you will automatically achieve.

Your own skills and personal efforts are important factors that will determine your rate of success. But you will find that the must successful MLM distributor understands how to market and attract leaders to their business.

Arbonne is a product-driven organization. Its products are well received. The company actually encourages prospective Consultants to first use the products before attempting to build a business.
